    Description
Original letter (actually two letters in one) from brother and sister Clark + Lucy Holbrook
to their friend in the Ohio 14th Light Artillery, Timothy Dwight Root.
The friends lived in Austinburg Ohio and are  actually listed as next door neighbors in the 1860 census.
"Dwight" was only 18 years old when he enlisted.
Both Lucy and Clark mention the death of "Warren" at Andersonville Prison in July (1863).
I am assuming this is someone locally they all know well, but could not find any record of a Warren that died
in Andersonville.   There is a Warren Barnum from Ohio, who curiously was captured in July, but he was eventually "exchanged."  Could this be the "Warren" in the letter?  Maybe these were just rumors of his death back home.
