Description

Up for auction is probably the most complete factory Air Conditioning System for the 1954?/1955/1956 Cadillac. I have almost every single part needed for a retro-fit to equip your 1954?/1955/1956 Cadillac with original equipment air conditioning. Missing parts are the flexible air duct hose, fan belts, the high and low pressure rubber hoses with fittings, and nuts and bolts. I can supply you with vendors that you can purchase these hoses from that are reasonable in cost.  A/C compressor (1955) is free turning with good vacuum and pressure and clutch has been tested and works as it should. I have (2) condensers- one from a 1954 Cadillac the other from a 1955 Cadillac which also should fit the 1956 year.  Both have been chemically cleaned inside with a/c cleaning solvent.  The evaporator body is out of a 1955 Cadillac.  I dismantled and did an extensive cleaning of all inside  parts (ie filters and housing) as well as inside evaporator coil being flushed with a/c cleaning solvent and fan motors work as they should.  I have way to many parts to give you pictures of but here is a list. All mounting brackets for the compressor to the motor, three grove water pump pulley, three groove crankshaft pulley and two groove generator to match water pump and crankshaft pulley. Also, package tray a/c vent tubes with grommets, package tray a/c control, rubber boots that connect the package tray vent tubes to evaporator, under dash mounted a/c electrical control, a/c sight glass, a/c dryers and outside quarter panel vents & gaskets. All items have been thoroughly cleaned, some sandblasted and re painted in proper color. With all that being said can I guaranty everything works, the answer is NO. Are there some imperfections, yes. Everything appears to be in working order .Shipping will be Local Pick Up unless other arrangements are made. I will do my best to work with anyone for shipping as I live in Southwest Missouri. Will it take some perseverance to install,  you bet. Please ask many many questions prior to purchase.
