    Description

Hurry - first manufacturing run is nearly sold out!
Another great reproduction - exclusively manufactured in the USA and sold by Gyrhead & Sons
Fits 1970-71 Ford Torino, Torino Cobra, Torino GT, Cyclone, and Cyclone Spoiler with 429 Thunderjet, 429CJ and 429SCJ . Can also be used on 1971 Mustang and Cougar 429CJ but isn’t factory original equipment on those cars.
Ford used steel tubes on the 429 engines to avoid routing rubber heater hoses around the thermostat housing, radiator hose, smog pump, air cleaner snorkle, and valve cover. They prevented heater hose chafing, kinking and reduced the potential for leaks.
The original Ford tubes were thin-wall mild steel - which rusted out or got discarded by mechanics over the years. They are non-existent in NOS condition and ultra-hard to find used.
This complete kit contains all the parts pictured - the 5/8” intake tube, 3/4” water pump tube, concours correct flare nuts, water pump brass compression fitting, intake manifold 90 degree elbow fitting, 2” rubber anti-rattle washer, and detailed installation instructions.
CAD/CAM designed and CNC mandrel bent from steel DOM tube for perfect fit, show correct appearance and OEM quality
While designed for the 429, these also fit 460 and all stroker 385 series big-blocks.

    Recent Customer Feedback:
“I have a Restoration shop in Michigan and obviously get to experience aftermarket parts first hand. Most are borderline junk. We just purchased your 429 HTK Heater tube kit for a customers Torino. Impressed to say the least. Those tubes are absolutely right on the money! They are bent to exactly match a set of OEM tubes that we have for another customer. Awesome job guys! Looking forward to using more of your parts!” - Dale Levasseur
