1987 ABNCo. Souvenir Card featuring an Obsolete Bank Note from the
Republic of Hawaii, .00 Silver Certificate.
.
(SO-58sc) Extremely attractive vignettes of "Little Family" (L), Indian Maiden with Ship and Train (C), and Hope and Anchor (R), with a striking blue underprint. These beautiful Intaglio Steel Plate Engravings represent the Art and Beauty of our early United States Paper Money. Souvenir Cards depict a large part of America's History and Values, at a fraction of what the original piece of Paper Money would cost. Perfect for framing, or to be given as wonderful gifts. Unfortunately the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (B.E.P.) and the American Bank Note Co (ABNCo) no longer issue Souvenir Cards for numismatic events as they once did. and they can now only be acquired on the secondary market. Produced by the American Bank Note Company (ABNCo) for the
1987 National and World Paper Money Convention and National Silver Dollar Convention, in St. Louis, Missouri.
