    29th Indiana Infantry Civil War Letter Robert Christie 1861. Condition is "Used".
    Robert writes his brother from Camp Nevin December 1861. Signed Robert Christie. Whoever wrote that he was not well was mistaken. He had “ Dierreak? For a few days but Captain gave him a dose of medicine that cured him. The health of the boys is improving but been hard on ones that are well for they had duty for company. They have 3 inches of snow. They made a fireplace that makes their tent warm.
    The bridge that was burned last fall has floated away and cars cannnot get there. They float provisions across the river. Pe Sargent got hurt and is discharged. John Granle is there to see Harvey.
    They have to spoon to sleep, one one turns all have to turn, he has drawing showing sleeping arrangements with names.
