    Description

    "The Violetta" Electrotherapy Apparatus for Babies - Electrotherapy apparatus for babies. 20th century, American. Entitled "The Violetta" by Bleadon-Dun Company of Chicago, Illinois. It is housed in a black case with a leather handle. From the early 20th century. The apparatus produces violet rays and ozone in glass electrode. Said to revitalize cells and the nervous system, cure ailments, alleviate pain. It is not shock therapy.
    Leather handle is broken but all there. All other pieces are included and original. Collectible only. I have not powered this up and do not recommend that it is plugged in. An interesting antique item for a collector and display piece.
