An Original Civil War soldier letter from a Union volunteer, with full color patriotic letterhead of the American flag with banner, from Washington, May 29, 1861 to his "Sis", pleased she is in good health, and reports we are in good health 'As well as the climate will admit", we "are in good spirits and eager for the fight to commence", Mr Barstow was here last Sunday and dined with us, also Dr Swain of the Benefit Church and several of the prominent gentlemen . We also had the presence of Our President Abraham Lincoln & Wm Seward at Our Dress Parade.
