    Description

    This is an unusual cloisonné lidded jar. Overall colors are pink,
    lavender, periwinkle
    with details in green, red, and blue ruyie border plus blue interior enameling.
    Why unusual is because of the lid system: there is no large vertical lip on the jar the the lid sits on. Where the lid it meets the jar is hidden: as the lid turns around under itself, it ends in a subtle flare. This flare holds the lid on the jar's opening.
    Interiors of jar and lid, and underside jar is a blue enamel, inside base too.
    Motif is floral with chrysanthemums and peonies.
    Stands abut 6 inches tall and about 4.5 inches at widest. Foot diameter is 3.25 inches.
