    Description
    Columbus jet black mourning pins in original paper box. Made in Great Britain by KB & Co. There are about 90 pins. The box lid is worn and scuffed, a couple of the corners are torn, and there are some scratches on the printed area. The good news is that no one tried to tape or glue the damaged places. A couple of pins were placed through the ends of the box so the lid wouldn't come off and pins go flying everywhere. Not bad for a paper item that's 120 - 140 years old.

    About Us
    We are liquidating our Mother's estate. She was an extremely talented artist, teacher, and author. In her later years she became an avid quilter and fabric artist. She was quite the collector and had an eye toward the eclectic. She made amazing quilt designs and even more amazing crazy quilt squares.
    In the coming weeks and months we will be posting fat quarters, and items for crazy quilts such as pieces of velvet, silk, silk ribbon, lace, embroidery thread, beads, baubles, trinkets, charms, and findings. Also, instructional and inspirational books for quilters, painters, and fabric arts. We may, at some point, decide to list some of her finished quilt tops, as well as those she didn't get to finish. She always had multiple projects going on at once!
    We are also beginning to list items such as vintage clothing, handbags, vintage, mid-century, and antique jewelry and collectibles.
    Check back often, you never know what you'll find. We don't even know what we'll find!
