From 1973 into the early 1990's the Elizabeth Arden Company produced a line of porcelain gift items for the Holidays that contained various fragrance items, mainly from their Blue Grass and Memoire Cherie lines. During the 1970's and 1980's, most were issued with a theme, as a 'Collection'. All pieces were produced in a limited edition, and for that year only. The smaller items are most common, and were made in greater numbers than the large pieces.
This is a beautiful porcelain gift item issued by Elizabeth Arden during the Holidays in 1978, part of the ROYAL PAVILION AT BRIGHTON COLLECTION - the ROYAL FINCH POMANDER. This porcelain Bird holds perfumed beads or crystals that scent the air through the holes on the body of the pomander. It is of white porcelain, highly glazed, and decorated with shades of blue and red. It is marked on the bottom, as shown in the photos. It is approximately 4-1/4 inches (10.5 cm) long and 2-3/4 inches (7 cm) tall, and in perfect condition; it is without packaging. I ship Monday through Friday - I do not ship on weekends.
US Buyers: USPS Shipping (weight appropriate) with Delivery Confirmation (uninsured) in the US (Priority Mail options include insurance). Contact me if you want any additional services.
Buyers outside the US:  Shipping is by First Class International Mail (uninsured/no tracking), by USPS Priority Mail International Small Flat Rate Box (insured and tracked, where available), or by USPS Priority Mail International with Delivery Confirmation. * Note: I travel several times a year, during which time I can usually communicate, but am not able to ship. International Buyers Please Note:
With First Class International, there is no way for the post office to track your package. I can show a receipt and Customs number for confirmation of mailing but there is no way to track it after it leaves my post office. Packages have sometimes taken a month to reach overseas, so please consider Priority Mail if you want the purchase fast.
Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
