Summary:
LOVED THE FACT THAT WE CAN STILL GO BACK TO THE OLD DAYS MOPAR PISTOL GRIP SHIFTER, HOWEVER MY FIRST ONE WAS BADLY FLAWED ON THE GRIP. I STRONGLY FEEL THAT ALL PARTS SHOULD BE SUBJECT TO AT LEAST A QUICK MINIMAL VISUAL INSPECTION BEFORE THEY ARE SENT OUT. THIS WOULD SAVE ALOT OF CUSTOMER LET DOWN & DISAPPOINTMENT. HAVING SAID THIS, WHEN I CONTACTED CUSTOMER SERVICE & ADVISED THEM OF THE SITUATION THEY PROMPTLY SENT ME OUT A NEW ONE THAT "PAT" PERSONALLY INSPECTED HIMSELF, IT WAS SENT BY AIR BEFORE I EVEN SENT THE DEFECTIVE ONE BACK ALTHOUGH I HAD TO PAY FOR IT FIRST OF COURSE AND SEND THE OTHER ONE BACK FOR CREDIT REFUND WHICH I AM IN THE PROCESS OF DOING AS WE SPEAK. THE BOTTOM LINE IS MY 1ST TIME DEALING WITH SPEEDWAY WAS QUITE A LARGE ORDER, PRICES WERE VERY GOOD, SERVICE AND PEOPLE ON TELEPHONES WERE FANTASTIC & VERY HELPFUL. ONCE AGAIN I MUST GO BACK TO THE FACT THAT QUICK VISUAL INSPECTIONS ARE NEEDED ON ORDERS BEFORE THEY ARE SHIPPED OUT. I WOULD THEN BE AN ABSOLUTE 100% SATISFIED CUSTOMER WITH NO GRIPES AT ALL. WITH REFERENCE TO YOUR RATING SYSTEM ON THIS PARTICULAR SHIFTER IT WOULD HAVE RECEIVED A PERFECT SCORE EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT WITH THE MANY DIFFERENT TRANSMISSIONS OUT THESE DAYS THEY SHOULD AT LEAST PROVIDE ONE WITH NO SHIFTING PATTERN IN IT AT ALL, SUCH AS IN MY CASE I HAVE A 6 SPEED TREMIC & NOW I AM GOING TO HAVE TO GRIND OFF OR COVER THE 4 SPEED PATTERN THAT IT COMES WITH OR WHATEVER. OTHER THAN THAT IT'S PERFECT.

Summary:
Speedway motors communicates very well, great ebay vendor. However, the description of the item is wrong. This shifter is NOT machined from solid billet aluminum, it is chrome plated steel. Speedway motors shipped item very quickly and was very good at communicating shipping status.

Return Policy
