    Ithaca Hours were the first and most famous of the paper local currencies issued in the US. They circulated for over a decade and a half. The notes had individual serial numbers. Many included date stamps or writing as evidence of circulation. This note has many such stamps and writing. These notes were featured in a 2021 major coin magazine.
