    ATLANTIS RISES AGAIN
    This very rare aviation bond was issued by Atlantis Airlines based in Stuttgart Germany in 1972, when Germany was still a divided country. It's over 50 years old yet remains in mint condition!
    This short-lived company offered charter flights throughout Europe (primarily to trendy Mediterranean destinations!) on its fleet of DC-9 Jets.
    Not only is the bond very nicely engraved but it remains
    100% Uncancelled
    which is practically unheard of!  Almost all numbered, issued bonds are punch or stamp cancelled.
    Denominated in Marks, 20 years before the Euro became the currency of Germany.
