In 1967, when United issued this bond, not many ordinary investors could shell out 0,000 to realize the 4 1/2% Fixed Interest it promised through 1992.  That's why a) this bond is very rare and b) all that we have are isssued to institutional investors or brokers!
Its rarity is not only reflected in its denomination but also its unique color - hot retro pink (think 60's Cadillac pink!).
Exceptionally clean and crisp! The only evidence of cancellation is in the form of tiny pinholes in the bottom left corner.
