Description

Rust Craft Card Company Recipe Cards 1920's
One little folder entitled Sandwich Recipes.
The folder opens up to hold 8 recipe cards on each side and is decorated
with a colorful 1920's
drawing
of
2
ladies in a kitchen slicing bread for sandwiches
.
This picture would look adorable in a frame.
And then for the sandwich recipes...
Some of the fillings suggested are typical of the era;
cucumber and lettuce, nut and jelly, etc.
Then there are the questionable fillings such as cold mashed string beans with olive oil,
or for a lovely change cold mashed asparagus and mashed peas with olive oil. Ewwww.
The little recipe cards are clean and neat, and fit into each side of the folder. The folder is
showing wear and starting to come apart at the paper hinged areas.
The folder itself is somewhat soiled,
but the recipe cards inside are clean and crisp.
On the back of the folder is printed '423 Rust Craft, Boston'.
There are 16 recipe cards total.
Non smoking home.
