1. What is the difference between un-pressurized collectors and pressurized collectors?
The Un-pressurized collectors do have water in the vacuum tubes and need to have return line above water to avoid pressure built up in the solar system.The Pressurized collectors have no water in the vacuum tubes. Pressurized solar system which can tie into your existing pool equipment,install easily,no maintenance,etc.
2. Can one collector heat the pool?
No, one collector is not enough to heat the pool
efficiently

3. How many collectors do I need to heat the pool?
One collector has 33 square foot solar absorb area, you estimate the absorbing area 50% of your pool
service

For example: 20'*30' swimming pool ,  20*30/2/33=9  This pool need 9 collectors to heat the pool.
4. Do I need a controller?
You need a solar temperature difference controller to control the pump run and turn off.
5. What is the disadvantage of un-pressurized collector?
Un-pressurized collector has water running through each tubes and one tube broken, the system shut down. The un-pressrized collector can not tied into your existing pool equipment.
