Each panel is put up against more than 40 QC inspections throughout the entire manufacturing process.
Each collector is made from precompounded polypropylene, a process of melt-blending plastics with other additives to improve performance and longevity. Each absorber plate is derived from a propylene copolymer with synergistic antioxidants and UV screen including carbon black. These special additives increase the material's service life substantially. This process is more expensive to manufacturer and significantly increases the materials resistance to UV light.
A direct, metered manifold delivers a balanced flow and prevents hot-spots. A tube-and-web design allows for normal expansion and contraction, extending service life (also the highest performing design).
