Vintage Chinese Trunk

Description

Vintage hand painted Chest Box with brass hardware. Made in late 19th century, the trunk was likely used to store belongings since homes at the time did not have closets. The exterior is richly colored lacquer to provide a smooth coating and and hand painted Tibetan floral decorations.  Aside from functional and practical storage capability, the trunk can make an amazing focal point in many different rooms.
Condition is prestige.
