Vintage Copper Vase High Relief Birds & Carved Swirls 9" - 1lb - 10 1/2oz. It may be Japanese when compared to style of bird on vases listed as Japanese I see on ebay. But I am no expert so that is a guess. Same with copper. It is reddish and looks like copper, not brass and not dark enough to bronze.
Condition is Used. There is a close-up photo of what looks like a flaw, may look like a crack, but it is just a dark spot. It feels smooth to the touch. I didn't want to ruin the patina with a cleaner to remove it. There are no dents. The rim is 1/4" thick but when I put my finger inside I feel that the rim overlaps so the copper is not 1/4" thick all over. The bottom is a very dark brown. The outside is reddish. The vase does not take a magnet inside, outside or the bottom.
