  • Condition: This is a vintage GM Frigidaire A-6 air conditioning compressor. This style compressor was used in the 60's-70's on R-12 freon systems. This came to me with a bunch of 60's Buick engines and parts so I imagine if came off of one of them. This compressor is applicable to many GM cars and trucks of the 60's through 70's. Please confirm your specific application.This compressor looks to be in good condition as shown. I see no breaks, repairs, or damage to this unit. The clutch still spins smoothly with no binding or slopiness. The pulley spun freely until I turned the clutch and now it seems to be engaged to the clutch. I imagine it needs surface corrosion cleaned off. I am selling this as a core for rebuilding since I do not know its history. Don't miss this nice original compressor.
