    Description

    VIR ELIMINATOR AND COMPRESSOR CONVERSION KIT [50-0080]
    Fits 1974-76 Pontiac Firebird and TransAm w/Pontiac V-8 Engine
    This conversion kit connects to the original evaporator core and replaces the original VIR assembly.  It updates the original A/C system to an accumulator/orifice system with cycling clutch like used in the later model vehicles.  Excellent for retrofitting to 134a refrigerant.
    Conversion Kit includes:  Accumulator, Orifice, Pressure Cycling Switch, Suction & Discharge Hoses, Sanden Style Compressor, Mounting Bracket for 1969 & up Pontiac V-8 engine, Pressure Safety Switch, Wire Harness, and Necessary Hardware.
